Key Notes and Tips.

helping you stay compliant with fuel tax regulations.

2. Secure Adequate Insurance Coverage:* - Before you can work with brokers and transport goods, it's crucial to have the right insurance coverage in place. - Aim for a minimum of $100,000 in cargo insurance and $1 million in liability insurance.

- This coverage protects you, your vehicle, and the goods you're transporting, providing peace of mind for both you and your clients.

3. Equip Yourself with an ELD: - Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) are mandatory for carriers to track hours of service and ensure compliance with regulations. - Make sure you have a reliable ELD installed in your vehicle before hitting the road.

- At Black Star Dispatch, we can provide you with the necessary ELD equipment for FREE, ensuring you're equipped with the tools you need for compliance and efficiency.

About Us

Black Star Dispatching (referred to from hereon in as the "Company") was established as a Sole Proprietorship at 1705 Illinois St, Bloomington, Illinois 61701 with the expectation of rapid expansion in the transportation industry.
As an experienced Class A driver, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the various challenges that arise on the road. I know firsthand the frustration of being stuck at a drop-off location for extended periods without compensation. Additionally, I understand the difficulty of being constrained by hours of service (HOS) regulations and a dispatcher who dictates when and where I can drive, often making it hard to be close to home when needed.
My vision is to revolutionize the trucking industry by creating a more sustainable and efficient system that supports the hardworking men and women who drive its success. By ensuring a steady stream of loads and focusing on profitability, I aim to not only improve the lives of my fellow road warriors but also to create brighter futures for our families. Together, we can build a better tomorrow for generations to come.
